Kabul Medical University is a governmental and autonomic university which provides an optimum, advanced, comprehensive, timely and free medical education.
Formerly known as (Kabul Medical Faculty), it was established in 1932 and was initially maintained by collaboration with two foreign governments, the Turkish and French sponsors. Both cooperators provided KMF with their own body of professionals and study materials, and a sustainable educational system. The Turkish partnership lasted for about 14 years and was followed by the French.
